Darion Jude Hendrick-Escobedo killed by alleged drunk driver in San Antonio.
According to KENS, a head-on collision took the life of Darion Jude Hendrick-Escobedo early Monday morning on Highway 90. The 22 year-old man was a graduate of Brennan High School. The wrong way driver was identified as Christopher Davila who had two children in the truck with him. Many wrong way crashes involve alcohol. Davila was being evaluated for DWI charges. If so, a bar or restaurant could face civil liability for the tragic death. Whether celebrating holidays or special events, injuries and fatalities due to drunk driving are always preventable.
