A drunk driver is suspected of intoxication manslaughter in connection with a wrong-way crash on the North Dallas Tollway. It happened early Sunday morning when bars are typically closing down from their Saturday night festivities. A driver suspected of being drunk, drove the wrong-way and collided with a sedan traveling in the correct direction head-on. Both occupants of the sedan were killed. It is illegal for bars to overserve alcohol to the point of intoxication. The majority of wrong-way drivers between the hours of midnight and 2:30 a.m. are under the influence of alcohol.
